Auto Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced, qualified level 3 Mechanic to join our team at E-ppl, we are leading suppliers of Managed Services within the automotive industry.  The mechanic will support our customer based in the Midlands.

A certification in IMI level 3 in Electric Hybrid systems Repair and Replacement is essential

The Mechanic will have good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Knowledge and experience with complex mechanical or electronic systems is also expected.

Auto Mechanic duties and responsibilities

·         Battery Removal

·         Engine Removal & Installation

·         Inspect vehicle engine.

·         Inspect mechanical and electrical components.

·         Pre- and Post-overhaul

·         Diagnose issues timely and accurately.

·         Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems.

·         Conduct regular maintenance work such as replacing fluids, lubricating parts.

·         Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.

·         IMI level 3 in Electric Hybrid systems Repair and Replacement is essential

·         3 years of experience as an Auto Mechanic or similar role

·         Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

·         Good time-management skills

·         Great interpersonal and communication skills

Benefits

Hours of work are Monday – Friday – 12-hour day shifts and Monday to Thursday 12 hour night shifts

Ongoing contract paid limited company or via umbrella company - Outside of IR35

£20.00 per hour, possible weekend overtime with premium rate
