Commercial Electrician

Primech Building Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various commercial settings. Your technical expertise and meticulous attention to detail will help ensure the safety and efficiency of our clients' electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, wiring, and power distribution in commercial projects.
• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and safety regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan electrical installations accurately.
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure effective project execution and completion.
• Document all work performed, including timesheets, inventory used, and completed tasks.
• Respond to emergency call-outs and perform on-site repairs as needed.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment, following all health and safety protocols.

• Proven experience as a commercial within Education, Healthcare and Data Centre projects.
• Relevant qualifications and certifications (e.g., JIB, 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations).
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and installation processes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and with clients.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Full UK driving license, as travel to different job sites may be required.
