Decorator (Permanent) AH

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform interior and exterior painting and decorating on properties of various sizes.
• Hang and line wallpaper, including calculating the necessary amounts.
• Paint walls, doors, windowsills, and skirting boards.
• Carry out French polishing on woodwork where required.
• Support other trades professionals to ensure a flawless finish.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all tasks.
• Participate in a seasonal shift and on-call rota.
• Any tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position.

Knowledge and Skills:

• NVQ or City & Guilds.
• Understanding of current building materials and their applications.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and COSHH.
• Ability to assemble scaffolding and climb ladders safely.
• Practical ability with a strong foundation in manual tasks.
• Hold a full clean UK driving license.
