Electrician

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Flintshire to assist with the appointment of an Electrician, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £16.62 - £21.75 per hour

Summary:

The Electrician is to deliver high-quality electrical work across tenanted and void properties within a social housing environment. The role requires strong technical expertise, with a focus on testing, diagnostics, and fault finding.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations in tenanted and void properties
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs within domestic properties
• Perform electrical testing and inspections to ensure compliance and safety
• Trace and rectify electrical faults efficiently
• Undertake repairs to various types of central heating systems where required
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with regulations and policies

Qualification:

• Fully qualified, time-served Electrician
  
• Relevant electrical certifications

Essentials:

• Proven experience within social housing environments
• Strong testing, inspection, and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
