Primech Building Services is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for and implementing electrical systems for a variety of projects across commercial, and industrial sectors. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring that all electrical projects are safe, efficient, and compliant with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Perform site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and compliance.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering and recommend improvements.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and design principles.
- Flexibility to work out of hours (OOH) when project requirements demand
- ECS Gold card holder is a must
- Testing experience (2391 preferred but not essential)
- TroubleshootingΒ & fault finding experience
- Experience of maintaining electrical equipment (routine maintenance)
- A good understanding of 3 Phase and Single Phase pumps and motorsΒ
- A good understanding of commercial and domestic heating control wiring
- BMS experience (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in the Installation of containment systems (tray, basket, ladder and metal conduit)Β
- Extensive knowledge of the BS 7671 wiring regulations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with project teams.
- Full UK driver's license as site visits may be required.
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- First Aid certification
- Experience in a lead Electrican role
Working Hours & Contract
- Project-based hours
- Typical shifts may include 07:30 β 16:30 or 16:00 - 01:00 depending on project needs
- Average project duration: 6 months
- ASAP start preferred
