About the Role:

You will work independently or as part of a team to Engineering Drawings in a multitude of disciplines such as:

• Bending, forming, fabrication of sheet & structural steel
• Use of hand tools i.e. drills, grinders etc
• Ability to tack jobs together using MIG or TIG welding
• Grinding
• MIG / TIG Welding
• Manufacture of framework

Key Responsibilities:

• Basic fabricating and welding
• Use of guillotine
• Use of brake press
• Use of plasma cutter / oxy acetylene torch / cutting
• Use of pillar drill / mag drill
• Manufacture of bespoke framework.

• Time served Fabricator / Welder preferred
• Ability to manufacture from engineering drawings
• Ability to read drawings
• Sheet metal work
• Experience with fitting and assembly of complete machines
• Work well as a part of a team
• Good timekeeping
• Proven attendance record
• Own transport preferred
