This position installs, maintains, modifies, overhauls, serves, and repairs of all types of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
1. Monitors, tests, maintains and repairs HVAC systems, related equipment and controls according to established policies and procedures.
2. Receives, prioritizes and responds to service requests according to established timelines and policies.
3. Identifies, troubleshoots, triages and escalates system problems, equipment malfunctions and repair needs.
4. Performs scheduled preventative and routine maintenance and documents activity on equipment and systems to ensure optimal and safe operation.
Education: High School or Equivalent
AND
Experience: (2) Two Years Experience
AND
Certification: Incumbent must receive an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Universal certification within first 6 months of employment.
AND
Licensure: Incumbent must have a valid driver's license.
Experience:
Four (4) years of experience related to the above described duties.
