Job Description

πŸš€ This is a hybrid role based in Bridgwater, requiring four days per week on site, with support available for those looking to relocate closer to the project.

As an HVAC Engineer, you will act as the link between design teams and on-site construction, ensuring technical issues are resolved efficiently.

🌬️ Act as interface between design teams and construction teams on site
πŸ“„ Review site change requests and quality issue reports for completeness
πŸ” Assess proposed solutions and confirm suitable technical approaches
πŸ“Š Support decision making on how changes and issues are managed
πŸ“ˆ Analyse recurring site issues and suggest preventative actions
πŸ› οΈ Review technical documentation to ensure suitability for site use
🚨 Identify and report installation or documentation issues promptly
πŸ”„ Coordinate communication between engineering and construction teams
βš™οΈ Support tracking of site performance and technical issue resolution
🧩 Provide practical engineering support to resolve site queries quickly

Qualifications

Nuclear experience is not essential, but is of course welcome. If you have worked within a highly regulated environment, your skills and approach are highly transferable and of strong interest to us.

We also recognise that the perfect candidate rarely exists. If you feel you meet around 80% of the criteria and are motivated to develop further, we would strongly encourage you to apply

πŸ“š Understanding of working within regulated engineering environments

🀝 Confidence working with multiple teams across a project environment
🧾 Awareness of contracts and how projects are commercially managed
