    Job Description

    • Job Title: Inspections Manager
    • Job Type: Permanent
    • Hours:  40 hours per week
    • Location: Yorkshire and Humber (M62 corridor)
    • Salary:  Competitive 

    Join us as an Inspections Manager, where you’ll carry out high‑quality statutory examinations across the Yorkshire & Humber / M62 region. You’ll be responsible for assessing the condition and compliance of pressure equipment, supporting clients with technical guidance, and ensuring all work meets ISO 17020, regulatory requirements and SGS quality standards. This role offers autonomy, professional responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute to the development of inspection services and asset integrity solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct professional statutory inspections, assessing equipment condition, identifying defects and ensuring compliance with PSSR, LOLER and industry best practice.
    • Provide technical advice, written schemes of examination, and engineering judgements to support clients’ decision‑making and statutory obligations.
    • Oversee and coordinate inspection activities, ensuring safe, timely and high‑quality service delivery across the region.
    • Support accreditation, quality assurance and continual improvement activities, including ISO 17020 compliance and technical committee involvement.
    • Contribute to the development of asset integrity services, including RBI studies, WSE reviews, and fitness‑for‑service assessments

    Qualifications

    Incorporated Engineer (or HNC with relevant experience) RG Category 2, or Engineering Technician (or ONC with relevant experience) RG Category 3 and 4(a) or trained in  relevant engineering.
