As a Lead Goldsmith, you are pivotal in setting the benchmark for quality, craftsmanship, and innovation within our workshops. You lead the mounting team, inspire confidence, and elevate technical expertise to meet our uncompromising standards and ensure QC standards are met each and every single time. Collaborating closely with the Head of Workshop Operations and the Head of Workshop L&D, you contribute to training programmes, masterclasses, and skill development initiatives. Your work upholds the highest levels of craftsmanship and plays an integral part in ensuring that every piece of jewellery is a testament to excellence. Your contributions are integral to our journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced jewellery manufacturing tasks, including bespoke designs, casting cleaning, and multi-piece assemblies.
  • Under the direction of the Head of Workshop Operations, lead and mentor the mounting team, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
  • Collaborate on designing and delivering training programmes and masterclasses with the Head of Workshop L&D.
  • Act as the go-to technical expert for goldsmithing-related queries.
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and oversee equipment maintenance.
  • Partner with the Head of Workshop Operations to streamline processes and meet production deadlines.
  • Represent the workshop during client tours and company events.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative environment, promoting growth and skill development within the team.
  • Accountable for productivity and quality standards and to feedback to the head of department on technical performance levels and standards.Β

    • Minimum 5 years of hands-on jewellery manufacturing experience with a strong portfolio and technical knowledge.
    • Proven expertise in advanced goldsmithing techniques, including complex bespoke designs.
    • Familiarity with precision tools such as microscopes, and laser welders.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
    • Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and training others.
    • A positive and proactive approach to supporting team and company goals.
