Salary £40,593 inclusive of call out Plus Vehicle and Package

We are working with a highly reputable and well known facilities management contractor who provide all round building maintenance to services to clients throughout the UK.

Due to continued expansion we are currently looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician

Role:

• You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of electrical maintenance works to a large supermarket chain throughout the region.

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.
• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
• Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs
• Identify non-repairable faults in both plant and machinery as well as general repairs and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
• Ensure that compliance documentation is completed and up to date at all times
• Advise the on-site customer (manager) of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the site.
• Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individual’s technical competence in accordance with current specifications.
• Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sites e.g. door repairs, general plumbing tasks
• Attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments.
• You will be part of a 24/7 call out rota.

Person:

• You will be qualified electrically and must hold Electrical Level 3 or equivalent, 18th edition and AM2
• You will have electrical maintenance experience on commercial sites and ideally some general building maintenance/fabric experience - ppm and reactive repairs
• You will live locally and happy with travel throughout the region and further when needed

• Ability to maintain and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment, e.g. commercial ovens, dishwashers and microwaves

• You must have a full uk driving licence
• Good IT skills

Package:

• Base salary £40,593 inclusive of callout

• Travel paid except first and last half hour each way but
• Monday - Friday 40 hours per week
• Callout 1 in 4 - Door to Door Paid when on call
