Salary to £40,000 plus vehicle, travel paid and excellent package

We are working directly with a growing and highly reputable medium sized facilities management contractor who specialise in providing all round building maintenance services to clients within the commercial sector. Due to expansion, we are recruiting for an electrical engineer to join the team in the South West.

Role:

• To carry out electrical maintenance works on a range of commercial sites.
• To carry out planned and reactive maintenance to all building plant, equipment and systems to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements.
• Completing building services tasks, including knowledge and user management of the following; BMS monitoring/management, emergency lighting repairs, fire alarm systems, pumps, FCUs (service and repairs), AHUs, and all other HVAC plant.
• Water Treatment – to have knowledge and understanding of ACOP L8 and carry out water treatment tasks.
• Ensure all reactive repairs are undertaken safely and within appropriate time scales.
• PPM on various sites in the Southwest, along with remedials, quoted works and small projects works.

Person:

• Electrical qualifications including Level 3, 18th edition and testing (2391 or 2394/2395) essential and basic understanding of mechanical plant and overall building services
• L8 Awareness
• A helpful and professional approach with direct contact with the client on a weekly basis.
• Experience within the FM Sector
• IPAF & PASMA trained (not essential).
• Emergency Lighting inspection, qualified or experienced.

Package:

• Base salary to £40,000
• Monday to Friday
• Callout rota 1 in 8 - £200 for being on the rota, overtime rates applicable if called out
