Mechanical Fitter (Theatre Installation)

Location: Near Canary Wharf, London
Duration: 28 July for a 3‑week run

Scope of Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Theatre Installation Technician to work with our client for a three‑week project near Canary Wharf. The role will focus on the installation of steel channel structures and the assembly and operation of stage lifts as part of a theatre build.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and secure steel channel and associated structural components.
• Assist in the setup, testing, and operation of stage lift equipment.
• Work closely with the installation team to ensure precision and safety throughout the build.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
• Follow project drawings, specifications, and site instructions diligently.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, site supervisors, and other trades.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with steel channel installations and stage lift equipment.
• Strong understanding of site safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Relevant certifications (such as CSCS or other site cards) are highly advantageous.
