About the role
Hunters 4 Staff are recruiting experienced MIG Welders on behalf of our client in Uttoxeter. This is a day‑shift role in a well‑organised manufacturing environment, with strong rates of pay and regular overtime available.
You'll be welding components to a high standard as part of a skilled production team. Immediate weld tests are available for suitable candidates.
Key responsibilities
- MIG welding of components to specification
- Reading and working from engineering drawings
- Carrying out visual quality checks on welds
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
- Working to production targets and deadlines
- Proven MIG welding experience
- Ability to pass an on‑site weld test
- Comfortable working in a production environment
- Willing to complete a pre‑employment medical, including drugs & alcohol testing
- Good attention to detail and reliability
- £17.39 per hour
- Overtime at £26.09 per hour
- Sunday rate £34.78 per hour
- Day shift with early finish on Fridays
- Weekly pay
- On‑site parking
- Long‑term work with a well‑known manufacturer
