Painter and Decorator

To deliver high-quality decorating work as part of the property reinstatement process, restoring residential properties to their pre-loss or materially equivalent condition following fire, water, or impact-related damage.

• Prepare and finish surfaces to a professional standard, including painting, wallpapering, and surface repairs.
• Ensure all reinstated areas meet project specifications and provide a clean, uniform, and durable finish.
• Work independently or alongside other trades to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with Policy Holders to minimise disruption and maintain a positive customer experience.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment and comply with all health and safety requirements.
• Accurately record work completed and materials used in company systems.

• Proven experience in painting, decorating, and surface preparation within restoration or residential environments.
• Ability to produce consistent, high-quality finishes across a range of decorating tasks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and resolve issues on-site.
• Physical ability to work in varied environments and maintain a high level of workmanship.
• Desirable: Relevant decorating or painting qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ).
• Full UK driving license.
