Job Description

About the Role:

The Quality Inspection Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained across all manufactured components and assemblies. Leading a team of dedicated professionals, you will drive continuous improvement and operational excellence within our Quality Control department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership and mentorship to a team of 4 Team Leaders and 21 technicians and apprentices.
  • Cultivate a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and a relentless pursuit of quality.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define and execute strategic quality objectives in alignment with overall business goals.
  • Implement and champion LEAN manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and effectiveness across all processes.
  • Partner with Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless production and the highest quality outcomes.
  • Oversee talent management activities, including performance management, training, and succession planning, to foster a high-performing team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience leading Quality Inspection teams within a high-precision manufacturing environment, ideally within the motorsport or automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in LEAN methodologies and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a passion for developing and motivating teams.
  • A strong understanding of quality management systems and industry standards.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
