Welder Fabricator candidates must be able to read engineering drawings, understand tolerances, bend allowances, and be experienced in fabrication and sheet metal machinery.
Duties include welding and fabrication in stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel material (1.0mm ā 12mm thickness), including pipework.
Ability to make assembly weld fixtures.
MIG welding both sub and main assemblies, either on a fabrication jig or freehand.
Sanding or grinding components or assemblies to achieve the stated dimensions and finish.
Requirements:
The role requires manual lifting, so applicants should be fit and able.

Significant experience with thin gauge TIG and MIG welding.
Sheet metal fabrication experience.
Ability to fabricate stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel.
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
City & Guilds qualifications in welding and fabrication, or an apprenticeship in engineering, would be an advantage.
