AWC Staff Services are looking for a National Grid Authorised Steel Fixer, for work alongside our client at Melksham Substation.
About the role:
- Reading plans and specifications form the drawing & bar schedule
- Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine the required layout, size, and shape of steel reinforcement.
- Precise and accurate in their work, paying close attention to measurements and designs.
- Collaborate with engineers, steel erectors, and other construction workers on the project.
You must have experience working in a Substation Environment and have your NG Persons ticket to apply for the role.
Start:16th February 2026
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: £27 Per Hour
