Trainee NDT Inspector

Salary: £16.22 per hour rising to £20.24 per hour after certification
Location: Glasgow
Hours: 37 hours, Monday–Friday
Contract: Permanent

We’re supporting an engineering manufacturer in Glasgow that is looking for a Trainee NDT Inspector to join their quality and inspection team. This role includes full training towards Level 2 certification under NAS410/EN4179.

Trainee NDT Inspector Duties

• Perform NDT inspections using approved methods

• Record and evaluate results to required standards

• Produce accurate inspection reports

• Maintain NDT equipment and calibration

• Support production, engineering and quality teams

Trainee Inspector Profile

• Strong attention to detail

• Willingness to learn and follow technical processes

• Interest in engineering or quality assurance

• Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential
