The Wastewater Treatment Plant Licensed Electrician is directly responsible to the Electrical Foreperson and indirectly responsible to the Maintenance manager. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of all electrical and electronic controls, SCADA systems and instrumentation and controls at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Sewage Pumping Stations and Centennial Fountain. The incumbent will be expected, in accordance with the Ministry of the Environment Regulations, Ministry of Labour Regulations and the Electrical Safety Authority, to maintain detailed daily electronic records of all preventative and corrective maintenance performed. This person will operate various mechanical devices, tools and equipment including vehicles, loader, fountain boat, portable generators etc.Β This position will also act as an emergency call-in for electrical repairs/maintenance at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Pumping Stations, Centennial Fountain, and other locations as required. Your knowledge SCADA, Rockwell and Allen Bradley equipment and instrumentation as well as other programmable and electronic controls are supported by your qualifications as a Licensed Electrician.
