As a Carpenter, you’ll be responsible for constructing and installing high-quality woodwork, from frameworks and flooring to cabinets and trim. If you're highly skilled, well-organised, and have a keen eye for detail, this role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise.

All the responsibilities we’ll trust you with

  • You’ll build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors and other wood fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenter’s hand and power tools
  • You’ll install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, rim, or hardware.
  • You’ll finish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in houses and buildings with hand tools and panelling
  • You’ll study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine the dimensions and materials required
  • You’ll take responsibility for yourself and others in the workplace, with the interests of Health & Safety

Where will you be based

You'll join our Central Region, where we undertake projects between £500k and £5m in value. Our focus is on high-end projects like swimming pools, spas, luxury bathroom and kitchen renovations, as well as refurbishments and new build private residences, which require attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality to the highest standard.

When you're not on site, you'll be based at our office in Basing View, The Square. A spacious, light and contemporary space, just a 5-minute walk from Basingstoke town centre and the train station. You can benefit from outside seating and bike racks if you wish to commute that way.
