THIS IS NOT A JOB ADVERT. Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities | | Install, inspect, measure, snag, and sign off fire doors across multiple Ventro projects. Ensure all work meets fire‑safety standards, is evidenced through Riskbase, and complies with health and safety requirements. Support site set‑up, clearance, and project delivery across nationwide locations. Other duties as assigned. | Typical Qualifications | Education: Carpentry NVQ (required).
Experience Target: Previous carpentry experience, specifically fire door installation, inspection, and snagging. Experience working on construction or fire‑safety projects preferred.
Skills:
• Strong carpentry and installation skills
• Ability to measure, fit, and adjust fire doors and frames
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to use mobile apps (Riskbase) for evidence capture
• Strong understanding of fire‑safety standards and compliance
Knowledge / Abilities:
• Knowledge of fire door regulations and best practice
• Ability to work independently and travel as required
• Understanding of site safety and material handling
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
Certifications:
• Valid CSCS card (required)
• Asbestos Awareness (required)
