As a Joinery CAD Designer, you’ll create precise technical drawings, ensuring seamless integration of fixtures, fittings, and building systems. If you're skilled in AutoCAD, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is an exciting opportunity to bring designs to life.

All the responsibilities we’ll trust you with

  • You’ll allow tolerances and fitting requirements for fixtures and fittings. 
  • You’ll accommodate mechanical, electrical AV and IT systems, including the sharing, communication and coordination of design and technical information with specialist supply chain. 
  • You’ll understand the interface between building structure and product being supplied, including consideration of the fixing and fittings and attention to detail of these parts. 
  • You’ll adapt your design styles to meet the brief, utilising current and traditional trends and standards. You’ll follow and replicate design styles set by the client’s teams.

Where will you be based?

You’ll join Greenborne Joinery, collaborating with a skilled group of craftspeople, you’ll have the opportunity to create stunning panelling, doors, windows and bespoke furniture, all made with a genuine passion for our clients who own luxury homes. You'll be based at our state-of-the-art Joinery workshop in Basingstoke, just a 5-minute drive from the local retail park. The areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role

  • You’ll have the ability to use Autodesk AutoCAD/Inventor. 
  • You’ll be proficient in Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. 
  • You’ll have excellent personal time management with the ability to multitask. 
  • You’ll have the ability to hand sketch to communicate initial design ideas.
  • You’ll have excellent communication skills 
  • You’ll have a natural ability to work in a team and equally on your own when required.
