Maintenance Electrician

My clients seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Electrician to join their dynamic facilities management team at one of their static contracts based in Camberwell. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining and improving building systems. 

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including distribution boards, lighting, and power outlets.
• Support mechanical and fabric maintenance as required, ensuring comprehensive site coverage.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, faults, and emergency situations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Document all work activities, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports to management.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Proven experience in a similar electrical maintenance role within commercial environments.
• Strong understanding of building services, including HVAC, BMS, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• IT literacy and experience with maintenance management systems.
