    We are currently looking for multiple Plasterers to join a project in Whittington & Stafford.

    We have 27 properties MOD that require full plastering. Whittington Barracks ( MOD ) & Stafford ( Breacon Barracks MOD )

    Start date is from middle November 2025 – February 2026 but were hopeful this will be extended.

    The successful candidate will carry out high-quality plastering repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works to social housing properties. The Plasterer will ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard, providing excellent customer service to tenants and contributing to the overall success of the maintenance team.

    Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

    • Undertake all aspects of internal and external plastering, rendering, and patch repairs within occupied and void social housing properties.
    • Carry out pre- and post-work inspections to ensure work is completed to specification and within agreed timescales.
    • Prepare surfaces for plastering, including removal of old finishes, application of bonding agents, and surface levelling.
    • Complete multi-trade tasks where required (e.g., minor tiling, decorating, or basic joinery) to complete works to a finished standard.
    • Work in compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, including the safe use of tools, equipment, and materials.
    • Maintain accurate records of work completed using handheld devices or paper-based systems.
    • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that tenants are informed and respected throughout the repair process.
    • Identify and report any additional repair needs or potential property issues.
    • Work both independently and as part of a multi-trade team to deliver efficient repairs and maintenance services.

    Key Skills & Experience:

    • Proven experience as a plasterer, ideally within social housing or domestic maintenance
    • Full UK driving licence
    • Strong knowledge of different plastering techniques, materials, and finishes.
    • Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    Desirable:

    • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plastering (or equivalent qualification).
    • Basic skills in related trades (e.g., tiling, decorating, or carpentry).
