About the Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled Bodyshop Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality painting work on a variety of vehicles, ensuring the best possible finish and matching the existing paintwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, applying primer, and masking parts that are not to be painted.
Mix and match paint to ensure a perfect colour match with existing paintwork.
Apply paint to vehicles using spray guns and other equipment, ensuring an even and consistent finish.
Carry out quality checks during and after the painting process to ensure no defects.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, complying with all health and safety guidelines.
Manage paint supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
Work closely with other team members, such as panel beaters and technicians, to ensure a seamless repair process.
Stay updated with the latest painting techniques and products.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Bodyshop Painter or a similar role in automotive painting.
Strong knowledge of painting processes, colour matching, and finishing techniques.
Proficiency in using painting equipment, including spray guns and mixing systems.
Good eye for detail and a commitment to achieving high-quality finishes.
Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
A valid driver’s licence.
Vocational training or certification in automotive painting is advantageous.
