Position: Marquee Builder (Construction)

Pay Rate: £11.80 per hour (without previous experience) and up to £13.80 per hour (with industry experience) Temporary ongoing with the potential to become permanent. 

Location: Work will be based across the UK  - shared driving of the vans between the team. You must have a UK Driver's License and one of the tickets below.

ACS Staffing Solutions are currently looking for Trainee Tent Builders on behalf of our client – a family run business who are market leaders in temporary buildings/ structures and complete projects for some really exciting well-known companies/events!

This type of work will require you to be working outside and to assist the team with the construction of these buildings/structures. The teams each have a fully equipped company van to access locations of work.

Experience:

This position would be suitable for you if you have industry experience within a similar field of work, and/or if you have tickets or if you have a keen interest in getting into the construction industry.

The relevant industry tickets as follows:

• PASMA
• Counterbalance Forklift
• Rough Terrain Forklift
• Telehandler
• IPAF 3A / 3B
• IPAF 1A / 1B
• CSCS
• Full UK Driving License
• Slinger Signaller
• Crane Lift Supervisor
• First aid at Work

Hours:

• Our client offer’s a 40-hour contract with a minimum of 1 unpaid hour of lunch per day however due to the nature of the work they are looking for candidates dedicated and able to work as a team to complete projects so they may require people to stay onsite later or to travel back home.
• Overtime hours worked over 40 hours in midweek are paid at a x1.25 rate
• Hours worked on a Saturday are 1.5x, hours worked on a Sunday and bank holiday are 2.0x.
• In addition to the per hour rate, they offer a daily allowance of around £7.05 per diem, and when staying overnight you will be given a stop out allowance or around £12.00 per night away (Dinner/Lunch included)
