Join a major nuclear new build project as the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Subject Matter Expert (SME). In this role, you will ensure all NDT activities on and around site meet technical and regulatory requirements.
You will provide oversight and assurance that requirements are clearly defined and embedded in procedures, technique sheets, and method statements. You will also support and guide the team responsible for reviewing and approving these documents.
A key focus will be reducing risk associated with NDT activities while driving innovation across the supply chain. You will champion the use of advanced techniques such as digital radiography, UT and PAUT, and eddy current methods, selecting the most effective and safest solutions while minimising radiation exposure.
You will play a central role in shaping NNBβs NDT strategy and surveillance approach. This includes leading technical reviews, supporting decision-making on inspection outcomes, and responding to RFIs, FCRs, and NCRs. Your expertise will help deliver a high-quality, efficient, and compliant NDT programme.
