Job Title: Highways Ganger / Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highways Ganger/Team Leader to join our team for a project on the M25. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in all aspects of civil work, including ductwork, drainage, slabbing, paving, steps, handrails, etc. Ideally we are looking for gangs / teams that have worked together on previous projects. The gang should have a mixture of operatives including (team leader / machine drivers / groundworkers / pipe layers).

Shift pattern: Monday – Friday with (nights / weekends becoming available).

Hours will be 07:00 – 17:00pm with an hour deducted for lunch break.

The contract is on going and you will be needed for minimum 18 months.

Van + Fuel card will be provided.

Skills:

– Previous experience in highways construction

– Strong leadership skills

– Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Responsibilities:

– Lead a team in all aspects of civil work on the M25 project J11.

– Ensure work is completed efficiently and to high quality standards

– Supervise and train team members as needed

– Maintain a safe working environment at all times

Qualifications within the team:

– SSSTS / CSCS / CPCS / Street works / highways passport.
